Description

These four apartments are built in the grounds of a 19th Century manor house. The property is named after the springs (Poços) that are found there. The house is just under 8km from Famalicao which provides shops, restaurants and a weekly market. Just under 16km away the seaside resort of Povoa do Varzim provides beaches and a casino with a nightclub. Guimarães, about 21km away, is considered to be the birth place of Portugal; Braga and Porto are also well within range.

One of the benefits of these apartments is the shared use of the magnificent 16m x 8m swimming pool (depth 1m-2.1m) and the tennis court set in a lovely walled garden. The apartments are all recent installations making up the subdivisions of a handsome stone building.

1). First floor apartment – Sleeps 4. The front door opens directly into the living room with a sofa, a coffee table, a dining table and, in one corner, a kitchenette. Off the living room is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower room/WC.
2). Ground floor apartment – Sleeps 4. The layout is much the same with a double bedroom, twin bedroom and shower room/WC off the living room. The living room is furnished with a sitting area, including sofa, a dining area and a kitchenette in the corner.
3). Third apartment – Sleeps 2. Approached, like the first one, by steps on the outside of the building which rise up from a communal covered dining and barbecue area. This apartment has a twin bedroom off an open plan living room with dining area and kitchenette. There is a shower room/WC.
4). Fourth apartment – Sleeps 2. On the ground floor of the manor house and made up of a double bedroom, a living room with kitchenette and a bathroom/WC.
