Colette is under 1km from the village of Cereste which is in the heart of the Luberon and at the entrance of the Alpes de Haute-Provence; this is an enchanting area. From the property you can easily walk to the village of Cereste which provides a large range of shopping amenities with bakeries, butcher, grocery but also cafés and excellent restaurants such as the Hostellerie l’Aiguebelle that serves you authentic Provencal cuisine. Moreover, in each village around you can be sure to find a very good restaurant and often a market with local produce to prepare your own meals.

Within a radius of 30km you have an interesting range of places to visit. Stroll with your children in the Provencal Collarado in Rustrel or in Roussillon to discover the beauties of old ochre quarrys. Discover a Chateau in Ansouis, Lourmarin or learn more about the Castle of Lacoste that was once the home of the Marquis de Sade and now the property of Pierre Cardin that organize a quite famous now lyrical art and theatre festival in summer. Take your bicycle and ride peacefully from a village to another. Whether you decide to rest around the swimming pool of the property or walk about to explore the area, you will definitely have a relaxing and fulfilled holiday. 

An electric iron gate opens onto the 2500m² of enclosed garden with 9m x 4m (2.5m max depth) swimming pool. You enter the house into the sitting/dining area with table and chairs and bay windows to the outdoor terrace, two sofas, TV, DVD player and fireplace. The kitchen is open plan on the right of it and is fully equipped with dishwasher and a French window gives access to the terrace with teak table and chairs and built-in barbecue. Adjacent to the kitchen is a door to the utility room with washing machine. To the left of the living area a corridor leads to a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a separate wc and a bathroom. From the sitting area, stairs rise to a semi-open mezzanine with double bedroom. In the garden there is a sitting area with an outdoor sofa and two armchairs, plus a ping pong table and swings for children. The owner leaves at your disposal 3 bicycles.
