Description

This simple but well maintained residence boasts a unique position with spectacular views over Pero beach in the bay of Cargèse. Perched on a hillside amongst pine and eucalyptus trees the residence is a short distance away from the charming town of Cargèse, a 15 minute walk. There are numerous restaurants for evening meals but the highlights of this quaint village are the two medieval churches built opposite each other overlooking a spectacular coastline. The narrow road leading from the residence to the beach is an easy stroll going down but longer coming back (approx 15 -20mins) and with a number of beach bars and restaurant you will be spoilt for choice.

The bustling centre of Ajaccio is a worthwhile trip just over an hour away. However if you want to enjoy probably the most spectacular scenery in the whole of Corsica drive up the coast through the charming village of Piana and onwards up to the gorgeous village of Evisa – stop here for a while before going onto the Aitone forest for walking, bathing and picnicking by the Aitone River. Drive back via the mountain village of Vico.

The residence consists of a number of privately owned apartments which are available for Affair Travel guests.

1 bedroom apartment (up to 3 sharing). Living room with extra single bed, small kitchen area with electric oven, cooking rings, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Bedroom with double bed and air conditioning, shower room and separate wc. Small balcony or terrace with spectacular views over Pero beach.

Lucy the hospitable owner prepares dinner each evening in the hotel, just place your order with her in the morning if you wish to dine in the restaurant that evening; or if you prefer a “take away” they will deliver your meal to your apartment to be enjoyed at your leisure.
