The property is situated in the heart of typical Provencal countryside with its own crystal clear stream flowing through woods and cascading over rocks into pools where you can swim and fish. The beautiful infinity swimming pool (10m x 5m) offers fabulous views over the Esterel range and the valley below the house. There is a pool house with summer kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and a barbecue, a wc, as well as an area for Petanque. The property, set on 2.5 hectares of magnificent undulating land, is a short walk to the medieval village of Tourrettes with its winding narrow streets and open air jazz and classical summer concerts. Adjoining Tourrettes is Fayence with its bustling shops, restaurants, cafes and markets.
This corner of the Var region allows easy access to Cannes, St Tropez, Monte Carlo, Grasse and some of the most beautiful natural sites like the Gorges du Verdon; St Raphael and its beaches is some 35km away. The bi-lingual owners have a house within the 2.5 hectares of the property s land, but will completely respect your privacy.
The villa is approached via a large terrace with vine covered wrought iron pergola offering magnificent views of the surrounding countryside to the Esterel ideal for candle lit dinners. Inside, the living area is very light and comprises an open-plan lounge with sofas, armchairs, plasma screen TV with TNT, DVD player, Hi-Fi unit and woodburning stove; the dining area seats 8 people around a farmhouse table. The well equipped kitchen has a modern stainless steel range plus American fridge freezer. A utility room houses a dishwasher and washing machine. Off the dining room is a spacious double bedroom with a lovely en-suite shower room/wc; off the sitting room is a twin bedroom with shower room giving onto the rear entrance hall with separate wc. A spiral staircase leads to the galleried landing with a bedroom at either end; one is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room/wc, the other is a twin bedroom with shower room - both bedrooms upstairs have air-conditioning. Next to the swimming pool, the summer kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, gas hobs, built-in barbecue and separate wc.
Broadband Internet Access: Broadband Wi-fi available at this property providing clients with free access via their own laptop.
