Description

This lovely single storey property has an ideal location – it is just around a corner, about 50 meters from the village square of Kanfanar which has a church, grocer's, butcher's, doctor, bars and post office. In July a festival of renaissance music takes place when famous European musicians perform in the local churches - the most magical one being in Dvigrad which is a deserted small hilltop medieval village 3km away. Kanfanar has its a 'festival of oxen' over the last weekend of July, which is followed by an evening party when local cuisine is celebrated.

You are 20 minutes drive away from famous Rovinj, which abounds with boutiques, patisseries, bars and restaurants of all kinds as well as some good beaches and a nearby Nature Park with rich pine tree woods. Numerous events take place in Rovinj during the summer, and there is always something for everyone there; but perhaps the greatest pleasure is just to stroll around the seafront and stop at a bar or two before settling down to a meal in one of the excellent fish restaurants. About 10-15 minutes drive is Lim Fjord which is over 10 km long and is surrounded on both sides by steep hills that can reach up to 100 meters in height. The water in the bay sustains a flourishing sea life and has a well-known fish and seashell farm (oysters, mussels, giltheads, sea basses.). All these delicacies can be tasted in two restaurants: ‘Viking and ‘Fyord’, both with excellent fish dishes on their menus.

The front door that opens directly into a spacious living area with satellite TV and DVD, sofa, plus dining table and chairs for 6, and access to the front terrace with pool. The kitchen is open plan to the living area and is fully equipped with cooker, dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Off the kitchen is a hall that leads to a separate wc,  a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom/wc, and a double bedroom, also with en-suite bathroom/wc, which overlooks the pool. All living areas and bedrooms have air conditioning.

The swimming pool is in front of the house and measures 7m x 3.5 m with roman steps ideal for children; it is surrounded by a lawned garden with fig trees, olive trees, oleanders and pine trees.
