Description
Tucked away in a traditional hamlet of private villas, Villa Fiori is a modern take of the authentic Corsican stone bergerie. The result is a delightful and spacious villa with oak beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and modern comfort. The feeling of space continues to the shaded terrace and gardens which are pleasantly enclosed by stone walls, olive trees and an aromatic blend of local plants. A stone path leads from the villa to the freeform pool which is a clever imitation of a natural rock pool but with the added comfort of pool furniture and parasol.
One of the many advantages of the villa Fiori is its situation, since it is only 2.5km from the golden sands of Palombaggia, the most beautiful bay in the south. Here you will find a selection of water sports on offer and a number of beachside bars and restaurants such as Tamaracciu. You can walk (30 minutes approx.) through the maquis to Tahiti beach which has lovely soft sand and gently shelving crystal clear water. The vibrant town of Porto Vecchio only 10km drive is a star attraction for those seeking elegant bars, sophisticated boutiques and lively nightlife. Beautiful cliff-top town Bonifaccio is only 30 minute drive away and is a must see.
The entrance to the villa leads directly to the open plan kitchen/dining room which has table and chairs for dining and a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooking rings, oven plus dishwasher, and a door that leads to an additional storage room with fridge/freezer. Three steps lead from the dining area to the sitting room which has comfortable seating, stone fireplace and flat screen TV and DVD player. Off this room is the utility area with washing machine, iron and ironing board. On the ground floor are two shower rooms, two separate wc'sand four bedrooms: two double bedrooms, and two twin bedrooms. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and built in cupboards. A cot and highchair are available - please request in advance.
The outdoor terrace with barbecue, table and chairs is accessed by glass doors from either the kitchen or sitting room. This overlooks the charming garden which has pine and oak trees and colourful shrubs. The swimming pool measures 8m x 4.5m and has sun loungers plus outside shower.
