This brand new house is modern and very comfortable. It is set in a rural setting some 800m from the village of Reillanne, which has several cafes, one restaurant, a boulangerie, a grocery for basics and a butcher; tennis courts are also just 500 metres from the house and the owner leaves 2 bicycles for clients to use. This village holds a market twice a week and is situated in the Alpes de Haute Provence; it is also part of the natural regional park of the Luberon. It is 9km from Forcalquier, 15km from Manosque, and 25km from Apt. For more restaurants, you have a good pizzeria 2.5km from the village, and the Auberge Pierri with a terroir menu is only 1.5km. As Reillanne is part of the Luberon it is well located to discover pretty villages like Bonnieux, Gordes or Roussillon. The Luberon is made of a mosaic of rich and contrasted landscapes with rocky hills and fields of lavender, olive trees or flowers. Also the picturesque architecture of villages adds further to the enchanting feel of the area. You are only 1 hour drive from the breathtaking scenery of the Gorges du Verdon where you can do water activities, and 1 hour away from the exciting town of Aix-en-Provence. Avignon is about 80 minutes from the house and is also worth a visit. The best sandy beaches are either east or west of Marseille at Carry Le Rouet or Le Ciotat respectively.
This brand new house stands in the middle of the plot of 5000 m2 with a lovely 10m x 4m swimming pool (constant depth 1.50m) in front of the house. The garden is half made of grass with swings and slides for children, and half of natural garrigue that scents the air. From the terrace with wrought iron table and chairs, you have a splendid views over the Luberon. You enter the house into an open plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine on your left; to the right is the dining area and then the sitting area with two leather sofas, TV, DVD player, Hi-fi unit, fireplace and French windows to the terrace. A door gives access to a corridor with a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and bay window to the terrace, a second double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a separate WC. From the sitting room a modern staircase with open tread rises to the master double bedroom with TV, en-suite shower room, separate wc, and windows with view over the pool. The house has telephone, broadband wi-fi internet access, and reversible air-conditioning.
Outside are a built-in barbecue and a covered parking space for two cars. A caretaker has a studio at the rear of the house - this has its own garden and separate entrance to ensure privacy for clients.
