This attractive house stands in a quiet residential area, just 4km from the market town of Vidauban. Here, there are shops and several cafés and restaurants, which are situated on the terraces around a traditional shady village square. There are five golf courses within half an hour of the property; slightly further away you can go fishing or boating on the lakes of St Cassien and Carcès. If you want to enjoy the scenery, we recommend that you drive through the Massif des Maures on the way to the Côte d’Azur and the resorts of Fréjus, St Raphaël, Sainte Maxime, Port Grimaud and St Tropez. Alternatively, follow the pretty valley of the River Argens to the Abbaye du Thoronet and meander through delightful countryside discovering the quiet and ancient villages in the Var, such as Carcès, Entrecasteaux, Cotignac, Salernes, Flayosc or Lorgues.
The property has 3000m2 of land with a garden planted with Mediterranean shrubs and mown lawns. The delightful fenced swimming pool with solarium (5m x 12m depth 1m to 1,80m) is just in front of the house and terrace. From the car park behind the house, a little archway leads to the lovely covered terrace with wrought iron table and chairs and the pool area. You enter the house through a hall with the living room on your right. This has a small but well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and French window looking out to a little terrace and the garden. Open plan to the kitchen is the sitting/dining area with dining table and chairs, two leather sofas, TV, DVD player, internet access, a lovely fireplace and French window to the main terrace. On the left of the entrance hall are a twin bedroom, a double bedroom with French window to the terrace and pool, a separate WC and a shower room. From the living room, stairs rise to the first floor with a separate WC and the master double bedroom with TV, an en-suite bathroom and a small terrace with table and chairs for 2. The house has a telephone.
