Located 10-15 minute walk away (1.5km) from the lovely old village of St Cezaire well known for its Roman origins. The village also has excellent shops, a bakery, a supermarket, several restaurants including a good Provencal restaurant called 'St Cezarie', a colourful weekly market and 8 tennis courts. Also just 20 minutes drive away is is the town of Grasse which is full of boutiques, several restaurants and of course a number of perfumeries. The coast of the Cote d'Azur with its famous beaches and towns such as Cannes and Antibes is just 30 minutes, or alternatively you can go to St Cassien Lake (20 minutes) for watersports and may beautiful spots for picnics.
This typical Provencial house is in a magnificent position, set within nearly 2000m2 of land given to grassy areas and fruit and olive trees. The house itself, built on a slight slope, has an attractive garden area with lawns, many flowers and shrubs as well as a south facing terrace overlooking the swimming pool (10m x 5m x 2.9m deep). There is a petanque court in the side garden. Below this area, the caretaker lives in a studio that is part of the house but which has an independent entrance and separate garden.
Entry is by the front door into an attractive hallway that extends through the centre of the house giving access to the attractively furnished dining room and sitting room (with a collection of stuffed hunting trophies), the well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a separate WC, and a bathroom/WC with bath and shower plus washing machine.
The kitchen, dining room and sitting room all have glazed doors opening onto the front and side terraces. The hallway also gives access to three bedrooms (two double, one with en-suite shower room/WC and TV, and one twin). From the dining room, a door leads to a sitting room equipped with sofa, armchairs, TV with LCD plasma screen, wi-fi internet access and French window. Also, a spiral staircase rises up to a mezzanine double bedroom with en-suite shower room/WC. The front terrace, overlooking the swimming pool, has a built-in barbecue. There is ample parking area.
Broadband Wi-fi available at this property providing clients with free access via their own laptop.
