La Roque Alric where the house is situated is just 6Km from Beaumes de Venise with local amenities, cafés and restaurants and many producers of renowned sweet wine. Best appellation of vinyards are very nearby. Sportive people will love the situation of the house ideal for cycling and hiking. The fortified centre of Avignon and its Palais des Papes is 40Km, the Mont Ventoux is about 20Km, Vaison la Romaine (20Km). Further towns such as Aix en Provence or Marseille are about 1 hour 30 drive.
Les Dentelles boasts a peaceful situation with outstanding views over the limestone mountain range called 'Les Dentelles de Montmirail' a superb spot for rural walks, hiking and climbing. The house sleeps 6 and is easy reach from typical and renowned Provencal villages, famous towns such as Avignon and superb countryside spots.
Les Dentelles is well equipped and nicely decorated with two terraces and a swimming pool the house is set on the hillside in an open ground of 1400m².
The house has 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining/sitting area and a cosy mezzanine with TV and computer with internet access. Due to the nature of the railing in the mezzanine the house is not suitable for children under 8.
Outside, from the terraces and the pool the scenery is spectacular over the Dentelles de Montmirail. It is the ideal place for candlelit dinner.
