Description
Set in three hectares of vineyards, oak trees and a formal garden, Manor House is a charming property in a quiet position, just 6km from Povoa de Lanhoso. The property is oozing with charm, with exposed stone walls, wood panelled ceilings and delightful antique furnishings. The kitchen is large and well equipped. There is a stunning drawing room and formal sitting room, both of which lead out onto the veranda. A second cosy sitting room provides casual living space.
Manor House has six bedrooms; one double, three twins and two single rooms.
Outside, the grounds are well maintained and strewn with olive, oak and orange trees. Beside the 10m swimming pool is a large granite table, perfect for outdoor entertaining, plus a tennis table and badminton area. The owner leaves bikes for adults and children to use.
Manor House lies in a quiet position close to Povoa de Lanhoso, which offers a fine selection of shops, cafés, supermarkets and restaurants. A weekly traditional fair is held every Thursday. There is a 170 hectare adventure park just 8 km away, which offers rafting, kayaking, canoeing and rock climbing. The huge wilderness of the Peneda-Gerez National Park can be reached within 15 minutes.
