Description
Zrnovska Banja is a little settlement at the head of a bay just north of Korcula town. There are little jetties from which children jump in to swim and splash around in the clear, warm, blue water. The house itself sits in a plot of about 1000m2 and is surrounded by a well cared for garden with flowering shrubs, palms and bougainvilia and is situated just 20 metres from the sea. There is a simple village shop just 50 metres from the house, and the nearest restaurant ‘Castello’ is just 1.5km. For a greater range of shops and restaurants the ancient town of Korcula is just 5 minutes away by car. There are a number of good beaches, notably at Lumbarda, and water taxis may be taken from Korcula to the beaches on the small islands off the coast between Korcula and Lumbarda.
The garden surrounds the house, and French windows which open directly from the sitting room onto the terrace allow the scent of the blossoms to enter inside. From the terrace are views of the sea and bay. All the accommodation is on the ground floor. The sitting room is furnished with two armchairs and two sofas. There is a separate kitchen/dining room with table and chairs. The property has three bedrooms and a shower room/WC; two bedrooms have double beds and one has two single beds. A washing machine is in the the cellar.
