Description

Villa Stanza has a really special location; it is surrounded with acres of land and spacious well kept gardens – mature oak trees, perfectly kept lawn, olive trees, organic garden, and beautiful little spots that you can find for yourself for relaxing in. A charming Dutch couple who speak English live on site; they are in love with Istria and can give clients lots of good local advice on how to make the most of their stay. The nearest village is 1 km away, reached by unsurfaced road; all you can hear are birds and sounds of the summer breeze gently touching the leaves of old oak trees. The place is really idyllic and perfect for total unwinding.

Kringa is the nearest little town in the vicinity, reached in less than 5 minutes drive. Here is a shop for your daily supply plus a bar, and in the neighboring village Danijeli, just a minute drive away from Kringa, you will find a very good restaurant Konoba Danijeli, with fantastic Istrian food at moderate prices. In the nearby village of Tinjan (5km) visit the local 'konoba' (family run restaurant) with its lovely terrace and views and enjoy some excellent cheese and prosciutto accompanied with good Istrian red wine such as Teran. Supermarkets can be found in Pazin (20 minutes drive) or Porec (25 minutes drive). Porec is the place to go in the evenings, with numerous fish and meat restaurants, bars and boutiques. If you fancy fish and seafood though, don't miss a dinner in Viking or Fjord restaurants in Lim channel, where mussels and oysters are cultivated and where you can have some of the best fish specialties – try fish in foil, or pasta Maremonti. Lim channel is 20 minutes drive away from the property.

Porec is not only famous for its boutiques, restaurants and bars, but for its cultural heritage among which Euphrasiana – byzantine cathedral in the old town centre holds the special place and is rated as  Unesco protected monument.

The mansion in the centre of this paradise has two separate wings at opposite ends, in which each apartment is located. Beside the mansion is the shared 8m x 4.5m infinite swimming pool with spacious sunbathing area, sunloungers, parasols and tables with chairs.

Broadband Internet Access: Broadband Wi-Fi available at both units providing clients with free access via their own lap top.
